About Hoover Electric

Hoover Electric is an electrical contracting company that specializes in residential and commercial applications. We provide service to northwestern Ontario, mainly to the Dryden and surrounding area, including Ignace, Sioux Lookout, Vermillion Bay, Ear Falls, and Red Lake. We are open Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 4.30 pm.

We’re in our thirty-first year of operation, having opened in 1987. At the moment, we have four licensed electricians, one of which is a master electrician as well as two other employees that are apprenticing with us.

Though we’re a mature company that has a strong customer base, we are continually doing our best to stay up to date and current with the newest technologies such as LED lighting, and other advancements.

While we are all really proud of the growth and development of the company over the last thirty years, our dream for the future is to continue to support our families and the local community.

As a company, we’re passionate about reducing our carbon footprint. One of the measures we have undertaken is the recycling of old fluorescent light bulbs when they get changed out to more updated lighting.
